Fat & Carb Blocker Supplements

Unfortunately, any supplement will carry some sort of side effect. Usually, carb and fat blockers will create mild gastrointestinal issues such as gas, more frequent bowel movements, liquidy stools and oily spotting inside the individuals underwear. This can be countered by reducing the amount of fat eaten in the diet. Though, if symptoms persist then it’s wise to visit a doctor.

These supplements can also prevent the uptake of fat soluble vitamins such as vitamin D. If you take vitamin D supplement as well then it’s recommended to take them between meals so as to avoid them being blocked and not absorbed.

Before taking any fat or carbohydrate blocking supplement it’s important to consult with a doctor to check that your health is good enough not to be affected. These supplements should not be taken long term and should instead only be taken as part of short term weight loss protocols.
